In Caverns Deep

In caverns deep
under ancient mountains
in halls adorned with gems
and veins of gold
there lives the fallen king.

Waiting for his time to come,
to leave his exile
and see his kingdom for the first time.

Around him he gathers warriors,
outlawed by the tyrant queen,
abiding in the cavern halls,
only to see daylight again
when he rises to new power.

Then they shall delight
in the light of sun and moon and stars
and the breathing of fresh air
and the wind on their faces
and the beauty of their land.

All the Universes

Light travels fast, light travels far, come and travel with me and with light... far, far away... to the farthest realm... darkness surrounds me, but soon the sky lights up with millions and millions of stars and I am not alone. Oh, sweet cosmic abyss, embrace my poor soul and make me immortal, so I can see... so I can feel... all the universes... all the universes out here... swimming through time until the end of it and the start of a new time in oh so many dimensions... spread out, crumbled up, sticking together, floating, rolling, turtleneck dimensions.

The Long And Winding Road

The long and winding road winds up and down the lonely hills, leading me from the wild and wide sea, with stormy winds in my back, through grassy and misty lands, sky overcast, scarf wrapped around my small and slender shoulders, up and down the rocky hills, goats and sheep my only friends on this long, last journey, up into the mountains high, woods all around me, climbing up high towards my resting place. From here I shall watch the sea, the place I loved, and never shall I return.
