Terribly Lost

Thick mists cover the water, mountains loom over me, an old wooden quay leading to nowhere. Oh, I got so terribly lost, I can see through the fog, but I can't feel the cold. Oh, dance with me on this old wooden quay. I take off my dress and feel the wind, the wind that is roughing up the waters, carressing my skin. Come, follow me, my sweetheart, we'll go for a swim and we'll dance under water in the dark. As the waves crush over me and I sink and I dance, I can see through the mist and the dark. Oh, I got so terribly lost.

Keem Beach

Two pictures I took of Keem Beach, located on Achill Island in County Mayo, last year in early November.

Sandal Wood

Sweet smell of burning sandal wood fills the air, overtakes my mind, leads it into other spheres. The day is dying, the night just breing born, as I decide what signs I should wear. The incense sweetly seducing my senses, my thoughts go astray. I take in the sensations one by one enjoying how they linger, how they make me feel awake. Touches unspoken of on pale skin, wind carrying the smell of burning, heartbeat, faster, faster, as the night grows on me. Calling the names, bizarre dances in the shadows, the chanting, the ecstasy - I am ready.

River Birth

Waters flow, trickle out of cold gray stone, trickle down, uniting with the small streams the deer drink from, flowing, flowing... Ever growing, ever uniting, becoming one, becoming faster until... All the waters become one non-traversable, wild, raging, mighty river.

View Over Tallinn

This picture was taken on my May 2016 trip to Estonia. Estonia is a pretty amazing country to visit, there is so much to see and I can definitely recommend to take some guided tours as well, they were really amazing and you got to see a few places you wouldn't be able to see without renting a car.

Queen of the Forest

Queen of the forest, have you gone to lay your children to rest? Rays of sunshine, emanating from the fading orb, adorn your white dress flowing down your slender shape like waterfalls. Queen of the forest, mourn your children for now - but soon they shall grow again and shine fresh and bright as a new cycle starts.

Coastline

This is probably one of my favourite pictures from Ireland. I took it when I went fishing one evening with some friends. It shows the beautiful landscape of the rural Connemara coast line.

Pouring Light

High up in the sky, the rising of the moon has come. Spreading her lavish garments of shimmering, flowing silver over the velvety night sky and surrounded by starry gems. She pours her light out, to fall onto earth like a waterfall cascading in the shadows, in the comfort of night. She pours her light onto secret lovers, moving seas and oceans with her power.

Misty Forest

This picture is several years old. I'm not quite sure what year it was taken, but it was probably 2013, just shortly after I got my camera. On the weekend I took this picture there had been strong rainfalls and rivers where I lived were flooding. In my town it wasn't really too bad, but other areas were affected and a lot of people from my class couldn't make it to school the Monday after.

Onwards We Sail

The dark abyss in front of us, impenetrable blackness, not sure what lies ahead, but we sail on, sail on through immense beauty: The bright lights, burning from within, giving warmth and light, too deadly if you get to close. On we sail: To colourful dust, the place we are all born in. Ever onwards we sail through the galaxy.

Wedding

So now, as promised, here are some wedding pictures. I didn't take any of these pictures, so credit goes to all kinds of people who sent them to me. And none of those are the professional photographs yet, as those will take about 4-6 weeks to edit and all. They are all amateur pictures taken by friends and family. So enjoy! (I might upload a video of the first dance later)  My mother-in-law made this beautiful cake, by the way!  And those are all my beautiful bridesmaids. They all got their dresses at different places and I'm amazed how the colours match up so well! There are so many people who made this day very, very special for us and we all had an absolute blast! Anyone in Ireland (especially around the east Cork/ Tipperary area) planning any kind of function should check out Kilcoran Lodge Hotel - that's where we had our wedding and the staff and especially Tommy who does all the functions are amazing

I Am Back!

I'm back! I've been busy getting married and being on my honeymoon all this time, so that's why I didn't post. As soon as I have time I'll share some wedding pictures, as well as lots and lots of pictures and stories from our honeymoon (all through Kerry and West Cork).

[Mist Rises]

Mist rises from the palms of my outstretched hands. Rain is slowly falling into my eyes, my widely opened eyes that stare into the sky, the clouds covering heaven with grey darkness. My bones are burning, war is in my ears, I have to run, but my body is flowing into the dark soil.

3 Days

It's now 3 days until my wedding day. Above is the first picture I took on our first date in Galway. It's been a wild ride getting to this stage and now I'm only panicking about some insubstantial stuff that could or could not go wrong. I'll be a nervous wreck on the day, because I don't like being the center of attention like that. I'm a shy person and this big social occasion makes me extremely nervous and anxious. But you know what? I'm still looking forward to it.

Little One

Don't be scared, little one. The world is scary and cruel, but you can be stronger. Don't cry, little one. The world will wear you down, but you have more power than they do. Don't give up, little one. The world might seem to fight you to the grave, but you can still win as long as you fight. Don't become bitter, little one. The world will need you to shine bright in those dark times.
